Lucky Charms Rice Crispy Treats

If you’re looking for a quick and easy treat to bake with your kiddos or something to serve as an after school snack, check out these Lucky Charm rice crispy treats from Delish.com. The combination of the sweet and gooey marshmallow with the crunchy cereal makes for a delicious and nostalgic dessert that everyone will love.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, plus more for pan
  • 1 (12-oz.) bag mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt 
  • 6 c. Lucky Charms

Directions

  1. Grease a 9″-x-9″ baking dish with butter. In a large pot over medium heat, melt butter. Add marshmallows and salt and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat and stir in Lucky Charms. 
  2. Pour into the pan and smooth the top, being careful not to pack cereal too tightly into a prepared dish. Let cool completely before slicing and serving.

Mint Chocolate Brownies

Who says all holiday baking has to be homemade? Make your life a little easier by starting with a box of brownie mix from Betty Crocker to make mint-chocolate brownies.

Use your favorite homemade icing recipes to top it off, or follow the recipes below.

Ingredients:

Brownies:

  • 1 box (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Supreme original brownie mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and egg called for on brownie mix box
  • ⅔ cup mint-flavored chocolate chips

Mint Frosting:

Shiny Chocolate Glaze:

  • ⅓ cup mint-flavored chocolate chips
  • 4 teaspoons butter
  • 4 teaspoons corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon hot water

Directions:

  • Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Grease bottom of 9-inch square pan with shortening or cooking spray. Make brownie batter as directed on box. Stir in 2/3 cup chocolate chips. Spread in pan.
  • 2Bake 28 to 31 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean. Cool completely on cooling rack, about 1 1/2 hours.
  • 3In small bowl, stir all Frosting ingredients using spoon until well blended. Spread frosting over brownies.
  • 4In 1-quart saucepan, heat Glaze ingredients over low heat, stirring occasionally, until melted. Stir in 1/4 teaspoon hot water at a time, until mixture is thin enough to drizzle. Drizzle over frosted brownies. Refrigerate about 30 minutes or until glaze is firm. Cut into 4 rows by 4 rows.
